May 06 Why shouldn't we talk to machines前兩天同事傳來msn的聊天機器人 encarta@conversagent.com
其實它主要的功用是百科全書，可以問他任何問題，
也是人工智慧的聊天機器人。
好奇之下當然馬上把它加入msn 聯絡人，
看看到底能聊出什麼東西來...
以下me 就是我，encarta就是百科聊天機器人，用的是msn8.0 的beta，( )是註解

me: bored Encarta: Who? me: me Encarta: OK, I'll remember that your name is Bored. me: no! i am feeling bored! Encarta: You are? Wow. Encarta: Yes. OK, should we get back to the kind of questions I was designed to answer? :-) I'm sure you've heard about Kyrgyzstan... but do you know where it is? Just ask me and I'll show it to you on a map.
(還滿聰明的嘛，知道要引導對方談他能回答的話題。但是小妹孤陋寡聞，還真不知道kyrgyzstan)

me: do you work on msn8.0 beta? (此時完全看不到東西，不知道他在'=>'個什麼勁)
Encarta: The system I use is compatible with a wide variety of interfaces, but for now this is the only one available.
(實在很像打電話進tech support的時候那種官方回答口氣)
me: oh shoot (發現他和msn8.0不合)
Encarta: Whoa. What's up? me: you don't work on msn8.0 beta!! (實際生活中不敢對客服人員吼，只敢對機器人鬼叫)
Encarta: Hey, I'm young. Give me a break. I try. Why don't you ask me something that's actually in Encarta? :-) What does the flag of Russia look like? Ask me, and I might even play its national anthem too. (完全是個有禮貌的客服~ 實在比citibank的好太多了)
me: What does the flag of Republic of China look like? (故意用ROC看他會出來Taiwan還是China)

me: i give up (已經失去對話的意志) 由此可知,，和機器人說話其實是訓練個人EQ的好方式，
如果每個人都可以文不對題講上個半個小時還不臉紅脖子粗，一定能夠大大增進辦公室人際關係。
實在是各HR office必備良方啊~
p.s. 在灌了windows live messenger 之後就可以開啟activity 視窗了
p.p.s. 後來再和這位Encarta聊天時竟然

結果和朋友和討論了很久"如何才能讓他知道我真的不叫Bored"...

草民 mango就忍不住在想
有沒有可能地圖能夠根據各人對於各地點的不同經驗來呈現呢?
比如說 mango心中的 721 Broadway 是站在astor place往南的角度看的
而Ming導的721 Broadway又是不一樣的方向
如果哪個地圖可以呈現每個人不同的角度一定很酷~
結果~~啊啊啊啊~~ 上天聽到我的聲音了!!
上次在找尋Kay的時候被我忽略的賣闊瘦福特竟然搞了這個東西出來!!
可惜並沒有 721 Broadway
所以退而求其次 放個我對Seattle勉強殘留的記憶: Pike Market
